Question Budgie Mutation - Opaline cinnamon

My two budgies Lucky (a male bright green and yellow opaline budgie) and Sparkle (a female yellow and possibly blue dilute opaline budgie) have been breeding. Most of the young been produced are opalines but one of them is slightly different. I think he might be a opaline cinnamon budgie. Below is a photo of the baby on the right and the mother (Sparkle) on the left.

Any help in determining what mutation the budgie is on the left?

What gorgeous budgies you have! They look to be super healthy, and I love the names you chose. Both are stunning and unique in feathering. I found a website you might like to visit entited "Budgie Place". On the home page toward the top there is a link " mutations". If you click on that link, you will see many different mutations to enjoy.

I've homed budgies for (60) years.... (oops . . now I gave away my age lol), and just love to have them in my home. At one time I had 9 of them. 4 babies and 5 adults. Due to downsizing to a small apartment I am only allowed 2 birds in my lease, so I have one cockatiel, Sunny, and one budgie, Muffin. My first budgie was green with a yellow head, what I call just a typical American Budgie. I was 11 years old when I got him, and he lived (9) years. For just eating a straight seed diet, that really was a miracle, because I did not feed him fresh veggies and other foods. Now I feed my birds lots of different veggies and other foods along with their seeds.

Thanks - I used that website before but only very recently, the website has been updated and I can't seem to find where the mutations page is.

Hi Thomas, it may not be the Budgie Place's website but here's my personal favourite budgie mutation/colour guide. It is very elaborate and detailed, it also has some "Expectation" outcome charts for breeding certain budgie mutations. It's helped me tonnes before when I was on the hunt to learn more about budgie mutations, colouration, factors and outcomes.

    Hope it helps!

Re: Budgie Mutation - Opaline cinnamon

That website is very helpful and I think I may now know which mutation he is. I think he's a sky, violet (sf), yellow face type2 (sf), opaline, cinnamon - which is a bit of a mouthful. Thanks guys for the help.
