    Toys for a canary

Would anyone be able to point me to a good place to buy some toys for my canary's to keep them happy when i'm out at work... So far I've a mirror with a bell at the end witch they seem to enjoy sitting on trying to make the bell ring. But don't know what kind of toys I should get I have a rather large cage so a lot of room for them to fly about in and change around the perches every time I clean out the cage.

Had a little swing toy that had like rope on it but had to remove it as the male bird kept trying to eat the rope and I was worried it may hurt him.

That is good you took the rope swing out because lots of birds do get impacted by eating rope off toys and perches. If you have a bird store in your area you can ask them what toys are good for canaries because honestly I am not sure what they would like to play with. You can also go online and see what the online stores sell for canaries to get good ideas. It sounds like they like bells so small toys with bells might be good for them along with shredding toys. Here in the US it is easy to find shredder toys that are made out of paper like stuff and boy do birds love to shred them apart.

Ya I didn't like him eating that i've been to the two shops in my town and neater of them could offer me any help on the matter... I'll look up shredding toys online to see what I can find may ask my fella who lives in the US to ask his pet shop for me also as it is clear none of the shops here can help me.
