    our Millienium is at peace

She wasn't a bird, but she lived along side our bird for many years. Millenium our black cat of 17 years was given peace yesterday. she had a long healthy life until the last 6 months where age creeped in with a vengeance. She went from 17 lbs to 3 lbs from a continued sinus infection that would not go away no matter what antibiotic we tried. She was loving and purring till the end. She went peacefully while held in my daughters arms. Ive heard that animals seem to say thank you when allowed to go with dignity. I don't know if she did, but I do know she looked comfortable for the first time in many months. Run free Millie.

I'm so sorry to read of Millie's passing. What a truly wonderful life she had on her journey on this earth, and the Universe chose a wonderful and caring family for Millie, in which to live and love life. In my heart, I know Millie was thanking you as she peacefully transcended to a new life of Universal Love and Spirit Light. She will be running free, with no more suffering, and wait to be reunited with you and all your family, one fine day.

For every nine lives Millie had, 153 cat years is awesome. Bless you and your family, MJ, as you mourn her loss.

Sorry for you loss I have lost three of my cats one was 6 months old when he died mother cat killed him, the 2nd was 19 years old and the 3rd we had for 16 years not sure what age she was. The loss of any animal no matter if it is a cat or bird when I think of my cats I image them is a field where they can hunt for the rest of there days until we join them for cuddles next to a warm fire.
RIP Twitter may your song fill the heavens forever

Sorry to hear about your cat, Millie, passing. She did have to share over 16 years with your family. I currently have birds and a dog, but have also had a couple cats and have a couple nearby cats that I like. Pets are wonderful things. Am sure you have plenty of good memories of Millie you will be thinking of. Best Wishes,
