    Gaia

    My Gaia is dead.
    It was a labrador

She had a skin illness, after that she was paralysed, I took her to the vet to lessen the pain but he killed her.

To the vet she cried, I had had to put her in a plastic bag and after that in a fridge, I just can't stand it. I killed her....

    Re: Gaia

I am sorry Stephane. Gaia was a beautiful dog and I am very sorry she died. How awful that you had to take care of her after she died, this alone would rip out your heart doing what you had to do with her body. You were only doing what you thought was best for her to help her with her pain. Did the vet give her a shot to kill her or was it a accident? I held my dog Tazz when they gave him a shot to put him to sleep because he was having awful seizures. It killed me inside to hold him as he took his last breath and it is something I will forever cry over. The love and devotion dogs give to us who love them is very special and they truly love us with all their hearts. It will take a very long time to grieve your loss over your beautiful Gaia. Labradors are such devoted dogs, mine was a half Rottweiler and half black lab like Gaia so I know the look of love in there eyes they give to you and its a special loving look you will never forget.

Sending you a big hug and lots of comfort.

Run free Gaia, you were loved and no longer in pain...
Fly Free Boomer, we will forever love you.
