Hi, and welcome to the community. It usually is difficult to sex them when they are younger than a year old. If you go to a website called The Budgie Place, and click the link on the top of the page called Budgie mutations, you should be able to find both male and female pictures of different mutations. With the albino and lutino, they both have the lighter color feathers, and the male cere never gets as dark blue as the common mutations. The female cere usually is light tan or ivory color in most budgies. The male is blue or dark blue. Your two are very unique. If you were to breed them, and they would have babies, you could get some beautiful babies for sure. You have a better chance for success if they are at least 11/2 years old, or older.

Could you post some pics of them. I will take a look at them to see the ceres. You also can go on line and order DNA sex kits to find out. Or, an Avian can do the test.

Aww! They are just beautiful. I think you do have a pair. The albino is a female, because her cere is ivory co!or. And the Lutino is a male because of the light blue colored cere.

Since you are interested in breeding, begin learning all about it. Google search breeding budgies. There is great info on the web.

Do you know how old they are? Those two mutations often do not have what I call a black dot collar. That is a little string of black dots around the neck, and they are an indication of the age of a young budgie. So, I really cannot say how old they are, but in their faces, they look to be quite young. Also, these two mutations often do not have the traditional black bars on the top of their head when they are very young.
