I'm not an expert on birds at all but I see no one has responded to your post and I wanted to give you some encouragement. Sounds like the little one has injured his foot? Do you see any damage to it? I don't know if you can take him to an avian vet but I have used an online vet in the past which was very helpful. And much less expensive than taking the bird to a physical location. Good luck, I hope someone with a little more knowledge responds to your post as well.

Thank you Karen! No he doesn't have any physical injury to his leg. Another bird had made him a small wound on the skin at the top of where his leg begins, on his side, u know how bird's legs go to their side of their body but I have treated that, maybe he just didn't wanna use that leg as much since it hurt his lil wound when he moved his leg. And this morning he's doing much better. He does have curled down toes on both feet but an online vet I spoke with said some birds are born like that it was normal and that in some cases they had to wear some little special "sandals" taped to their feet to attempt to correct that. Thank u for ur encouragemnt!

Little sandals, how cute! I would love to see that! I'm glad he's doing better and was just favoring the leg. Welcome to the board. We look forward to hearing more about your bird!
