I put the honey in her water but she kept getting water everywhere! Why is she doing this? Also I gave her some millet and she is loving it! Her diarrhoea has improved since I followed your advice so thanks

Try the water without the honey or juice. I have to tell you, budgies can be little stinkers when it comes to eating and drinking. My two love to scratch the seed out of the cup, and they really are not eating much of it. I will not throw it out. I sort out the good from the hulls every night and keep it. They too love to play in the water cup. I have not had any success stopping them!! Millet is a great treat!!!

I am happy she is doing better.

It took me a few days to see this but when I refilled it with the honey water I put in less honey and she stopped doing it. Also what would be the best way to clean around her vent? There's no poo anymore but the feathers are a bit dirty and she hates anything wet so bathing is out although if I take her into the shower she like the humidity and doesn't mind when water droplets get on her but if I deliberately wet her she gets annoyed

There should be no need to clean the vent. Usually they will clean it themselves. Keep giving her plenty of water, and keep trying leaf lettuce. Both will help to soften the poops. Also, take a piece of wet paper towel and clean the vent. If you have her in your shower, be sure she does not ingest any soap or shower gel. That can be fatal. You also can take a spray bottle with warm water only, and spray the vent and gently clean with paper towel, or, soft cloth.

Another question I have is can the type of seed mix affect their health/looks? I've heard that the Volkmann's seed mix is good so I might try and persuade my nan to get that if it is true but right now I'm feeding them Trill's budgie food mix is this a good one?
