    Fledgling drinking formula

I have an unweaned pineapple GCC that's 9 weeks old (I know how to handfeed) and while I was getting ready to feed him, he jumped onto the container with the formula and started drinking right out of it. Was wondering if this is something I should stop him from doing.

    Cheers

My view is as you are right there with him, and you know how much he is eating it should not hurt him. Are you beginning to feed him some seeds as well? I would say he is old enough to begin eating some seeds. Also, get some millet seeds or sprigs at the pet shop. Feed a few of the seeds and millets out of your hand. That will be a good way for him to eat them, and you are getting him somewhat socialized by doing so.

I wished I could tell you but I cant. You can try putting the formula on a spoon to see if he likes drinking it off the spoon because then it least you wouldn't have to worry about him contaminating the container of formula.
