    Fighting over food

My budgie Ozzy is not letting my other budgie Joey eat, sometimes they'll eat in peace, and they preen and feed each other, but recently Ozzy has become quite aggressive. Is this hormones, or do I have to seperate them.

Well, it could be hormones, but also could be an issue of dominance and control. If he is not allowing Joey to eat or drink at all, and is pushing him off perches, etc., then you do need to separate them.

When I seperate them, Ozzy always tries to get to Joey but Joey doesn't do the same. Is this a sign he's sick of Ozzy?

No. They do not get sick of each other.

Raging hormones does this too birds. I have a friend who has two male parrotlets and the bigger one beats up the smaller one when they are feeling hormonal. It got so bad last year she separated them to keep the smaller one from getting hurt. Both birds were very upset about this so after a few days she put them back together and they best buddies again.
