Friends, I have 10 goldfishes in my garden pond. Last day, two of the goldfish died. I love goldfishes. We are getting hard water through pipes. I know that goldfishes are freshwater beings and they live in water where salt contents are negligible. Hard water contains many minerals, especially, magnesium and calcium. We had some difficulties with hard water. Because of these reasons, I fixed a water softener system. I think it is not working now. I should have to call a water softener repairing services from Calgary. I don't know whether these are the reasons.
Since I don't experiment more in garden ponds, I don't have much awareness in it. How can we maintain it more effectively? I don't want to harm those fishes. So, it will be of great help if anyone who suggests a method for maintaining the garden pond.
