    Question about beak grinding

I know when a bird grind it's beak at night before going to sleep, it's a sign of a happy bird. What if they don't do this though? I have two male budgies in the same cage that rarely do this beak grinding at night. I've had them for about five months and they seem happy and healthy otherwise. They sing and chirp all day, play with their toys, eat and drink normally. But when the lights go out for bed, I seldom hear this happy sound. Is this a sign that they may not be happy or comfortable, or do some birds just don't do it as much as others? I'd hate to think that my boys aren't as happy as they could be.

No worries! Some budgies grind their beaks, some do not! They appear to be very healthy and happy! That is all that matters.
