Thanks Stephane! I am sorry that only one of the eggs hatched out. The one baby is stunning and this age is one of my favorite ages because they are actually showing us there beautiful colors they are growing up to be. Your sweet baby is as I say is squishy huggable!

We have a warmer january than the other years but I thought no one would hatch, so it's not so bad.

    Thanks Ellen!

Deanna, "head entirely colored" = opaline (rose, orange or white).

I'll try to post pics as long as I can but as it seems amateur breeder are killers of biodiversity in the view of french government... hope things change before other breeders abandon their hobbies...

Noooo!! This is just awful! Maybe for your flocks safety you shouldnt post about them anymore. Or just a little bit so they dont come and take away your flock. Are they all still outside? Perhaps they might be a bit safer inside your house or shed so noisy neighbors dont see all the birds.

    Re: Roseicollis 2019

For now, roseicollis, cockatiels and budgies are not targeted but for how long?!?!
It's for the moustached parakeet I'm a bit more preoccupied, we shall see.

Yes they're all outside but as I had to register all non-domestic birds on a national file it's useless to hide them and as they're visiting the nest more often these last days I don't want to disturb them now.

But don't worry for now they're just taxing the birds, they don't confiscate our birds, not yet.
