Sorry to jump on the thread so late, but from what I have been reading it sounds like Snow is a boy. Female tiels usually don't talk or wolf whistle, if they do, it's rare. Also, Ellen gave you excellent advice by googling different mutations.

Usually Lutino's are yellow with very red eyes.. My Piper (my profile pic) is a Lutino cockatiel. From what I can see in your pic, you have a whitefaced pied. Oh, I have one too!! He is Ellen's Grandbird

Mine aren't interested in the tv much but we have a pretty hectic house where there is always an Animal or kid running or now flying around to distract them.. I'm not having as much luck taming my 2 new tiels as I did with Snow but perhaps because they are older and bonded we've just started Harness training snow and taking him out in the car

It could be the two new ones are very bonded to each other, and may have been from the same aviary. When that happens, they tend to focus on each other and it is more trying to tame them. I suggest taking one at a time in another room, and begin binding with him or her. Once you create a bond with each one, it will be easier to train them together

Teach him or her to step up, on command, and then once they step up, allow them to eat millet off the top of the sprig. Use a perch, or small dowel for the step up. Do this exercise for both of them often. Once you create a bond with each one, it will be easier to train them together.
