Volkman is the best seed mix and I sure know my entire family feeds all the birds volkman seed mixes. Big Cockatoos and Amazons and little conures and yes even Boomer (RIP) all love Volkman. Its great you found it local near you as well.

Its a little costlier than other seed mixes but i could see the improvement in their poop so its not a big problem

Once they get volkman I know all my family birds will refuse to eat any other seed mix. It truly is great for all birds. We also get Tikki my daughters Conure TOPS (Totally Organic Pellets) seed mixes and pellets. One of our local bird stores stocks it and Tikki LOVES the spicer pellets and the Napoleon seed mix, especially when we sprout it. If your store stocks it I it least highly recommend the pellets they make. They are all organic human grade seeds and grains with none of the additives they put into other pellets.
