Hello all,

I have my budgies on the healthiest seed blend I could find. It contains:
  • Canary Seed
  • Oat Groats
  • Hemp Seed
  • Sprouted Tri-color Quinoa
  • (NOW SPROUTED) Hulled Millet
  • Sprouted Buckwheat
  • Soft White Winter Wheat
  • Nyjer Seed
  • Fennel Seed
  • Cumin
  • Nigella Sativa
  • Mixed Sesame Seed (black/natural)
  • Chia Seed
  • Flaxseed
  • Caraway
  • Dill Seed
  • Dehydrated Seasonal Vegetables
  • Dehydrated Herbs and Greens
  • Milk Thistle Seed
  • Anise Seed
  • Coriander Seed
  • Chamomile
  • Calendula Flower
  • Nut Blend (a proprietary blend of ground almonds, pistachios, walnuts, brazil nuts, pepitas)
  • Rose Petals
  • Raspberry Leaves cut and sifted
  • Lavender Flowers

I am wondering if you guys could tell me if these ingredients are as good as I think they are. I want my birds to have the most balanced and healthy diet possible.
I also am hoping for suggestions on what fruit and veggies are the best, and alternative methods of presentation. Currently my budgies enjoy kale, broccolli, and corn. They wont touch any of the fruits I've tried, including orange slices, banana (peeled or with peel) and apple slices. They seem to want to go for leafy greens more than anything, but I know fruit is a vital source of vitamin c.

Thank you!
