    Separation?

So I've been a bit disappointed with how my birds are behaving towards me. I've decided that they might be acting out because they're all molting.

    Anyway

If I temporarily quarantine them one at a time for 30 days, would that help with bonding with me?

They might. But if they've bonded to each other, they might just get stressed our hearing the chirps of their pals coming from other rooms. Also, if they're molting they might be especially cranky and not want to be bothered.

    Re: Separation?

Someone said to get a cockatiel if they're so tightly bonded but wouldn't it just bind to the others and ignore me too?

EDIT: What about 4 separate cages next to one another that I take turns moving to the other room throughout the day? I don't have the money right now for it at the moment but I cam make it happen.

Ultimately, I plan to build a custom cage you could walk in that'll take up a corner of one the rooms. I want to sit in there with them to read so they have to stay in close proximity to me while I'm in it.

Maybe you could get a cage like this: https://prevuepet.com/product/172/di...rd-cage-spf063
Then your fids would be able to see and interact with each other but would have a bit of separation to see about bonding with you. Also, I like your idea of an in-door aviary!
    Rest in peace, Earl-ly bird
