    Red-eyed baby-genetics question

I have a red-eyed baby with yellow feathers coming in. Mom is Opaline and dad is Slate. What are the possible genetics here. I know males are XX and females are XY. Opaline is sex-linked. I know Lutino is also sex-linked so if my baby is Lutino, it would come from dad. Dad would be a single factor Slate split to Lutino. He is visually Slate. The baby would be female. Mom canít be Opaline split to Lutino, right? I think the only other option is Creamino or some kind of pied, but pieds are dominate so not a possibility, I think. Am I correct in my thinking here? Thanks for any help.

Yes, your thinking is correct! The father is split to lutino. As the downfeathers are yellow, it will probably be a normal lutino. When they are white, it would be a creamino.
