    Weather and Birds

I think I've noticed that my budgies are more subdued on rainy or overcast days. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it my imagination?

Well, I have never noticed that, but it probably depends upon what size cage you have, and where it is located. They do enjoy an area of alot of light, especially sunshine.

Our birds are always the same no matter what the weather is outside. Sometimes if it is really windy and our big pines are dropping things on the roof they may get a little nervous but so do us humans.

The cage is really large and in a very sunny spot. Some days they prefer to spend a lot of time outside the cage (they just hang out on top), but seem to spend overcast/rainy days in it. But it could be that my mood is more subdued

My little guy behave more less the same each day regardless of the weather. Like your's our HRH (His Royal Highness) likes to hang out on the top of the cage. Weather if it's snowing, raining or even sunshine, his mood is the same. The only time he does get a little nervous is once in awhile we lose power, other than that, Tango is about the same.
