how do cockateils mate?

just the same as other animals! the male jumps the female.... of course they go through a whole courtship/foreplay thing, then the male will get on the back of the female, usualy holding the feathers on the back of her head in is beak, she'll move her tail to the side, and they rub their vents together....... (sorry if this is too much info, but i thought it interesting that only a few different type of birds actualy have a pen-is [tiels don't] so they have to get their vents to touch.... if ya know what i mean!) LOL!
i don't find this at all embarrasing, it's a fact of life. but i understand others may not like this sort of info, if so, i'll change it. please tell us if you want this edited..... Dan, is this ok?
