New Baby

As most of you know I will be bring home another Cockatiel, hopefully in a month or less as she is still handfeeding. The sex is unknown, but we are thinking female, so I am calling her a female for now. She is an adorable Cinnamon Pied. She will be coming from the same breeder as Chloe did.

I have posted this picture before, but in case you guys dont remember - here is her picture that was taken at 3 weeks of age.

She is adorable! I love the pieds that are very yellow like that Amaretto is like that and it gives him this beautiful cream color all over.

For some reason the 4 new pics aren't working for me I have tried coming on here 5 times at different times during the day. The 1st smaller pic does fine... and so do other pictures from other threads. Just not the ones I want to see the most which is your cute baby at 4 weeks of age! Hmmm....

The pics didn't come up for me this morning - but they did just now and WOW ... she's soooo beautiful.

Don't have any names suggestions (it's been hard coming up with my own lol) .. but check the baby name websites... they have tons. I find it's easier to know the bird's personality .. makes it easier to name.

Wow - I am glad you all like her so much!!!

I have decided on a name for her - I actually decided it last night when I was laying in bed. I am going tgo name her Vegas.

What made me choose this name is that about a year ago I had a very pretty normal pied and his name was Vegas. He passed away in a freak accident. Anyway, he was a very sweet birdie and there pied markings do look similar other then him being normal and her being cinnamon. Plus if she turns out to be male Vegas will also work. I think it works as a unisex name.

So everyone - those pictures are of Miss Vegas at 4 weeks old.

I have to find the perfect name for my pets, and I have a lot. From my actual pets that stay with me, or babies I breed (such as the many budgie clutches I've had in the past 7-8 tears, our various dogs, and I even named my fish). So I browse for days nd days, hours and hours for the best name that I think is good enough. Then since I browse through the lists so much, the names stick in my head and when I think about them, or help others with names, they become more 'stuck', and more names are aded on when I find a new one, such as the name Vegas no!
