Lasius, I need help
Hi,
How are you? After Falgo died, I felt very very bad. It would take me a long time to go to sleep, like 4 hours before I can sleep. Falgo was like a baby to me. I took care of him the best I could. can't help thinking over and over what I did wrong, what the vet did, and what I can do. I've decided I have to do something otherwise I wouldn't feel any better. My family isn't a warm one, so I found that the happiest time was when Falgo was around. I loved him and I felt loved, unconditional love. With him gone, I am so devastaed. Lasius, I was wondering if you can help me. I understand that you are a vet. I will get the name of the glue, the antibiotic and the dog food, could you write me a letter saying that these things might have cause the bird's death? If you need more information before you write it, I might be able to get Falgo's file. The second place I took him to might be able to help me with getting the file. I want to show it to that Sorry for the longgggggggg post Thanks, Falgo |

Re: Lasius, I need help
hiya,
yes i will help. the glue is usually fine depending on the situation but i would still like the name. however the dog food is a big no no 1: it contains bacteria harmful to smaller birds (as small as a galah to a finch) 2: it has to much red meat in it that causes stomach disruptions in cockatiels and other birds alike. i will definetly help though, oh yeah, if you ever get another tiel dont worry about the colour, just get a normal grey. they are the best tiel as they are native as they can get, they are stronger and more immune than other less-bred tiels. they also have a longer life (usually) it dosnt matter about the prettyness, its the inside that counts. |

Re: Lasius, I need help
Lasius, Thank you thank you thank you! I will find out the names as soon as possible. I guess I will wait until this is done before I get a new one. I think I'd like a grey cockatiel the best, but I don't really care about the color. Falgo was a grey, and his tail was cut off. The pet store people said it was because he lived in a small cage. I didn't even look at the tail when I said I'd take him. I noticed the tail after the cleark told me. I just loved his characteristics. I never had to train him, and he was never afaird of me, not even the first time we met! Falgo |

Re: Lasius, I need help
Hi,
How are you? I got them, I'll tell you what it says: 1. NeoBacPolyB oint 1/8o z 2. Canine/Feline A-D 5.5 oz. He said Falgo could also drink condensed milk, and just use my finger to put the ointment on the wound. I'll go get the rest of the medical records today. Lasius, this is my email, sixthangel9716@hotmail.com, I want to give you my home addresss, so if you want to send me your email, that would be great. Thanks a lot, Falgo |

Re: Lasius, I need help
They gave you A-D!? I could understand it being an honest mistake from the regular vet as it is a fortified food recommended for pets recovering from a serious illness, however cat/dog food for a bird... even a regular vet should know better!!!
However it is strictly for cats and dogs and it even says so on the can and on Hill's website ! www.hillspet.com/products...33&PRODUCT<>prd_id=379 Even their feeding directions starts at 2kg (now that's a pretty big cockatiel...) I'm sorry I just had to say it :o |

Re: Lasius, I need help
Hi,
Here is the membership page for the Association of Avian Veteranarians. The AAV is well respected and I'm sure any vet on the list will be competent. Just scroll down to your state and then look for one in the city you live. www.aav.org/activemembers.html Z |
