This is a colorful toy that birds will love to chew!
- First, you take a popsicle stick or tongue depressor (if you want them colored, you should use food coloring).
- Pierce a hole at each end of the popsicle stick and one right in the middle.
- Take a string of cotton twine and attach it thought the holes of the popsicle stick (one string per hole).
- String beads and leather on the twine; the length is at your discretion.
- You can either use a quick link attached to the center string or a simple twine loop to attach on the cage.
- Popsicle sticks tend to be chewed through rather quickly by cockatiels so supervise the toy regularly.
