Toy: Sisal Swing (by TaffywDuck)

Sisal Swing Toy

This is a really simple swing to build, and birds will love to chew it up or rest on it.

  • First, you need about 1-1.5 feet of 1/4" or 1/2" sisal rope.
  • Twist it so it forms a circle.
  • Use tape to unite the two ends of the sisal rope.
  • Cover the taped area with twine, making sure no tape is left uncovered.
  • Take a string of twine and use beads to create a mini toy at the top of the swing.
  • For even more fun, add a bell and leather rope.

Don't forget to read the toy material safety article before creating this toy!
